Participation in the GMVD Championship 2020

The Golf Management Association Germany (GMVD) on 8 September 2020 in Wittelsbach Golf Club Rohrenfeld-Neuburg was crowned the new title holder of the 24th GMVD Championship. The traditional event, which had a record participation of 63 participants, was won by Markus Löffl from GC Altötting-Burghausen.

Among this year's participants was clubtag managing director Martin Fels. Participation in the 2020 GMVD Championship was a special highlight for all players. The tournament atmosphere was both competitive and relaxed. Despite playing below his personal best, Martin didn't quite make it to the top spots. Markus Löffl secured the gross victory with an impressive round of -4.

In his acceptance speech, Löffl highlighted the organization of the traditional GMVD event, the outstanding quality of the golf course, and especially the accommodations at the Wittelsbacher Golf Club Rohrenfeld-Neuburg hotel. Host GMVD President Korbinian Kofler, CCM 2 (2018), and Managing Director Andreas Dorsch, CCM 2 (2019), expressed their gratitude to the supporting partners of this year's GMVD Championship on behalf of everyone.

During the evening event, clubtags raffled off a complete project consisting of 500 golf bag tags among all participating club managers. The lucky winner was Herbert Fritzenwenger from Ruhpolding Golf ClubThis project will be implemented in the coming weeks and we will inform you about the result.
