Important information about engraving logos
Our laser engravings rely on precision and excellent contrast. To ensure this high level of quality, we require engravable vector graphics.
Why vector graphics for laser engraving?
Vector graphics consist of lines and areas instead of pixels. They enable razor-sharp engravings, clear contours, and perfect detail. Professional graphic designers know what's important in production processes like engraving or embroidery and create logo files accordingly.
Challenges posed by digital designs & AI logos
In recent years, many logos have been designed exclusively for digital purposes—with gradients, shading, or even animations. Such designs are hardly suitable for engraving.
In addition, more and more private customers are using AI logo generators. These not only look borderline flawed, but they are also usually pixel graphics that require complex conversion and are often unsuitable for clean engraving.
our recommendation
To avoid unnecessary additional effort and to achieve an optimal engraving result, We strongly recommend that you have your logo created as a vector file by a professional graphic designer (e.g. as .eps or .ai fileIf your logo is only available as a pixel graphic (e.g., .jpg or .png), conversion may be necessary, which involves considerable additional effort.
We'll be happy to advise you on which file formats are suitable for engraving. We're also happy to help you create logos for a fee.
